We had an excellent experience with Drake Homes. We chose one of their stock plans and customized it to suit our needs and desires. Ray Drake listened to our ideas and made his own suggestions, but never pressured us into anything. We were able to subcontract plenty of work ourselves, allowing even more customization and still keep within our budget. The subcontractors and the service guys were always lite, friendly and helpful. We freely recommend them to people all the time. Our only problem...by the time we were done making our changes, the house didn't fit on our lot! Not Drakes fault, but our own! It was an easy fix.
